Support

In 2019, Solar Austin created our main initiative - the Equitable Clean Energy Jobs program, in partnership with Huston-Tillotson University (Austin's oldest HBCU) and local solar companies. We have been overwhelmed by the success and the value of this program to Austinites and to other cities in Texas, and we have expanded and formalized our programming to include our "Pathways to Clean Energy Careers" program and solar installation camps! Our community installation projects, along with Solar Austin’s inclusive internship program and policy efforts, are focused on ensuring that the benefits of clean energy are equitably accessible to all.
