K-12 SOLAR EDUCATION
A major component of Solar Austin’s mission is lived out through local efforts to advance Equity and Inclusion in the solar workforce by educating, inspiring, and supporting youth, young adults, and beginning professionals in opportunities within clean energy.
Solar Austin has fought for solar energy implementations and equity in Central Texas since 2002. Solar Austin has continued to flourish through our local advocacy, solar education programs, community engagement, and clean energy career program. Through the efforts of our volunteers, interns, and board members, we have had the pleasure of providing donated solar panels to community neighborhoods, hosting integrated community discussions, and partnering with other local organizations.
